Research Interests & Expertise

My professional experience includes ten years in the food industry, primarily with ITC Ltd – Foods Division for 7 years, along with experience in a research institution at NDRI, Bangalore. Since 2011, I have been working at UAS, Bangalore, with experience in teaching and research in food microbiology, food safety, and quality-related courses. My research areas of interest include fermentation, probiotics, solid-state fermentation, and food safety. I focus on applying microbiological and biotechnological approaches to improve food quality, safety, and value-added food products.
