My research interest in plant biotechnology focuses on improving crop productivity and sustainability through advanced molecular and genetic approaches. I am particularly interested in molecular markers, tissue culture, plant genetic engineering and genome editing techniques to develop crops that are resistant to biotic and abiotic stresses. I am also interested in plant tissue culture and its applications in rapid multiplication, conservation of rare species, and production of disease-free planting material. The integration of molecular markers and marker-assisted selection in breeding programs fascinates me, as it accelerates the development of improved crop varieties with desirable traits. Overall, I aim to contribute to the development of innovative, environmentally friendly technologies that enhance agricultural productivity while maintaining ecological balance and supporting global food security.
