My work as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agronomy at the College of Agriculture, V.C. Farm, Mandya since 2018 focuses on rice cultivation with special emphasis on nutrient and water management, along with cereals and pulses crop production. My research is centered on integrated farming systems and enhancing crop productivity through sustainable practices. I have 8 years of teaching experience and have also served as Assistant Professor at the Water Technology Centre, Mandya, Junior Agronomist in AICRP on Small Millets at ZARS, Mandya, and Senior Farm Superintendent at the College of Agriculture, Mandya. I have offered 37 UG courses, 12 PG courses, 2 Ph.D. courses, and 4 Diploma (Agri.) courses during my teaching career. I have served as Chairperson for 2 M.Sc. students and as an advisory committee member for 4 M.Sc. and 1 Ph.D. students. I have authored over 60 publications, including a Kannada textbook on production technology in cereals, pulses, and forage crops. I have organized field days and training programmes for farmers and contributed to externally funded research projects as Co-Principal Investigator, while also serving as a reviewer and external examiner for academic institutions.
