My research interests focused on sustainable agriculture, climate-resilient crop production and resource-use efficiency. My work primarily emphasizes improving crop productivity through innovative and eco-friendly approaches. During my doctoral research, I worked on direct-seeded rice using drip irrigation and fertigation to enhance water productivity and optimize input use. I worked on agronomic fortification, particularly in millets, aiming to improve nutritional quality through zinc and iron enrichment. My goal is to bridge scientific research with field-level applications, supporting farmers in adopting sustainable practices. Alongside research, I am committed to teaching and mentoring students, preparing them to address emerging challenges in agriculture and contribute to resilient and sustainable food systems.
