My specialization lies in Genetics, Epigenetics, and Marker-Assisted Plant Breeding, with a strong passion for both teaching and research. My work focuses on understanding the genetic and epigenetic mechanisms underlying important plant traits, including yield, quality, and stress tolerance, and applying this knowledge to improve crop performance through modern breeding approaches. I am particularly interested in integrating molecular tools and DNA-based markers to accelerate the selection process and enhance breeding efficiency. My research also explores gene expression regulation and epigenetic modifications to better understand plant responses to environmental stresses. In addition to research, I am actively engaged in teaching and mentoring students, contributing to the development of innovative and sustainable crop improvement strategies that address current and future agricultural challenges.
