My research focuses on integrated nutrient management strategies combining organic manures, chemical fertilizers, and biofertilizers to enhance productivity and sustainability in mulberry-based systems. I emphasize the role of micronutrients such as Zn, Fe, B, Mn, and Mg in improving leaf biochemical quality and silkworm performance, along with studying nutrient dynamics and soil–plant relationships in perennial mulberry ecosystems. My work also includes fertigation and precision nutrient management under irrigated and high-density planting systems, as well as the use of soil testing and plant tissue analysis for site-specific nutrient recommendations. I am involved in developing sustainable nutrient packages for climate-resilient sericulture production. My areas of expertise include the design and execution of field experiments on mulberry nutrition, evaluation of growth, yield, and leaf quality parameters, and diagnosis and correction of micronutrient deficiencies. I also specialize in the integrated use of organic resources and microbial inoculants, and the preparation of practical nutrient schedules and recommendations for farm-level adoption, contributing to improved productivity and resource-use efficiency.
