My expertise lies in the areas of soil fertility and plant nutrition, with a strong focus on enhancing nutrient use efficiency and sustainable crop productivity. My work particularly addresses the challenges posed by problematic soils, including saline, sodic, and acidic soils, and their effective reclamation and management strategies to restore soil health and ensure long-term agricultural sustainability. I have also contributed significantly to the utilization of agro-industrial waste for agricultural purposes, exploring their potential as cost-effective and eco-friendly nutrient sources. This includes the conversion of such waste into value-added products like compost, organic liquid manures, and enriched formulations, which improve soil microbial activity and organic matter status. In addition, I possess expertise in the formulation and preparation of organo-mineral fertilizers, integrating organic and inorganic nutrient sources to achieve balanced nutrient supply and improved crop performance. The development and application of liquid organic manures have also been central to my research, as they provide easily available nutrients, enhance soil biological activity, and support integrated nutrient management.
