My research interests and expertise are focused on Reproductive Biology, Biodiversity Assessment, and Tree Improvement with emphasis on understanding plant reproductive mechanisms and their applications in conservation and genetic improvement of forest species. I also specialize in Wood Anatomy for evaluating structural and functional properties of timber resources and their implications for utilization and quality assessment. Another key area of my work is Carbon Sequestration, particularly in forest and agroforestry systems, aimed at understanding ecosystem carbon dynamics and supporting climate change mitigation strategies. I have strong interest and experience in the application of Remote Sensing (RS) and Geographic Information System (GIS) technologies for biodiversity monitoring, forest resource assessment, landscape analysis, and spatial decision-making in natural resource management. My overall research integrates biological, ecological, and geospatial approaches to support sustainable forest management, biodiversity conservation, and climate-resilient ecosystem planning.
