My research interests and expertise are Plant Tissue Culture, Molecular Biology, and Microbial Biotechnology, with a focus on applying these fields to sustainable agriculture, crop improvement, and biotechnology innovation. In plant tissue culture, I have experience in micropropagation, somatic embryogenesis, synthetic seed technology, and conservation of rare and endangered plant species. My work focuses on optimizing culture media, growth regulators, and acclimatization protocols to achieve large-scale production of disease-free, genetically uniform plants, particularly in forestry and horticultural crops. In molecular biology, my expertise includes DNA/RNA isolation, PCR, molecular marker analysis, and gene expression studies. I am particularly interested in using molecular tools for genetic fidelity testing of in vitro-raised plants. In microbial biotechnology, I have worked on biofuel production and agriculturally beneficial microbes, focusing on biofertilizer development and plant-microbe interactions. Additionally, I am interested in microbial enzyme production, secondary metabolites, and biocontrol agents for eco-friendly crop protection. Overall, my research integrates plant and microbial systems with molecular approaches to address challenges in crop productivity, genetic improvement, and sustainable biotechnology applications.
