My research interests focus on enhancing the sustainability and productivity of agricultural systems through efficient resource management and ecological approaches. A major area of my work is weed management in various cropping systems, aiming to develop integrated and environmentally sound strategies to reduce crop–weed competition and improve crop productivity. I am also interested in the utilization of agro-based industrial effluents in agriculture within a circular economy framework, exploring their potential as alternative nutrient sources while maintaining soil health and environmental safety. Another important focus of my research is natural farming, which promotes low-input and environmentally friendly practices for long-term agricultural sustainability and improved soil health. In addition, I work on precision nutrient management with emphasis on foliar application of nutrients to enhance nutrient use efficiency, crop growth, and yield under diverse farming conditions. My research also includes carbon sequestration studies in different cropping systems to understand how improved management practices can increase soil organic carbon and contribute to climate change mitigation.
